Sediment sample T90-14-68 was recovered in 2018, its original volume was 20 litres. It derives from T90, locus 14, a mid-7th century floor surface, and contains mainly plaster. The sample was floated in2018, details on its content can only be assessed in the future. The heavy fraction was likewise sorted in 2018. It was divided into a >6mm, >3mm, and >1mm fraction. Of the >6mm and >3mm fraction 100% were sorted, the >1mm fraction is not sorted yet, but stored at the magazzino for future sorting. The variety of arte- and geofacts was high. In both the >6mm and >3mm fraction charcoal, bone, slags, hammerscale, and pottery/terracotta were recovered. The abundance of slags, hammerscale, and charcoal is described as poor.
