Description | Fragment of a "cut-out" modelled akroterion(?)(or wing of a sculptured animal?) preserving section of a curving member ending in a blunt point; the back is flat and has a rough, unfinished surface; the curving edges are smooth; rounded (inner edge) or flat (outer edge near finished end); the front has a flattened top surface but towards the edges of the fragment its outline is rounded. |
