Description This wall was named in the 1994 season. It slopes down at the same angle as the stairwell to a level area above the pavement. The wall is more destroyed in the north, perhaps from the collapse of column drums, but was later re-built. It contains one destroyed window and one doorway, which we originally thought had been narrowed, but upon closer examination seemed to be the original size. This aperture could easily have been a window, as it is across from the doorway on the east wall, which would have been bolted, and the window would have shed light into the stairwell appropriately. The southernmost window/aperture lies 2.47 m from the north wall, Locus 103, and is 1.14 m wide. The northernmost aperture lies 1.93 m from the north wall and is 0.57 m in width.
Definition Western Wall.
