Description | Regular rectangular limestone block. Grayish colour, natural. Marginal case for dressing/finishing aside of cut out. Slight undulation on upper surface; remnant of shallow channel perhaps evident running NE-Sw across upper face. Dotted with black moss or lichen on top. Most obvious sign of finish to NW corner. Perhaps quarrying marks to E edge. This is modern. |
