| Field Description | Composed of 12 cm of sediment immediately below 99-361. Sample spans E-F transition zone. Lighter in color [7.5YR5/4; brown]. Top 5 cm are very heavily cemented with carbonate. Lower portion of sample is much less concreted, although small phosphatic and apatitic-looking nodules are visible. Red TR balls occur occasionally. They do not appear to be as bright red as in sample from above. |
