Descriptive Attribute Value(s)
Description Locus 14 is an area of limestone Hexagonal Pavement which formed the floor of the Lower Temenos. This pavement matches the pavement found in other trenches in the Lower Temenos. Many of the pavers in Locus 14 are badly damaged and several have plow marks caused by Bidoul farmers who used the Lower Temenos area as an agricultural field. Some of this damage resulted from column drums being rolled across the Hexagonal Pavement for in three places the traces of their action, depressions, are clearly visible; a column drum remains lodged in one of these depressions.
