Description | A fragment of a cover tile preserving traces of an "X" or chi siglum. The cover tile preserves two perpendicular finished edges, with a corner broken off in between them, as well as preserving portions of the interior and exterior curved faces. The siglum occurs on the finished exterior near the preserved finished edge. One bar of the siglum begins 0.03394m from the finished edge and stretches 0.05005m before it ends or is obscured by a large inclusion. The other bar of the siglum crosses the first described to create the complementary angles of approx. 65/115 degrees and extends 0.04608m before it is lost in the break edge. The width of each swipe creating the siglum is roughly 0.00680m. |
