Field Description | Hard, compact, pinkish grey ashy unit with burnt bone and flint. Drilled with several insect holes ~5 mm in diameter. Some snail shells. Tends to form a hard plate that covers surface of the subsquare. Some scatters of charcoal and some mud dauber nests. |
