Description Locus 8 is the same red mottled soil of locus 5, but over the entire area of the trench, and under locus 7. 1 piece of bronze was uncovered. No lithics, vitrified terracotta, or slag were discovered. 10 fragments of bone were found. 86 pieces of pottery were discovered, with 45% being impasto, 31% being fine impasto, and 22% being coarseware. Though locus 8 was only excavated partially for just over a day, it appears to be the locus where the most finds so far are turning up. Locus 8 is equivalent to Locus 5.
