Condition Broken across back and one side, worn, very encrusted.
Description Fragment of handle of a bucchero vessel has roughly oval flat scar on back from attachment, one section of handle is uneven rounded area with irregularly flattened sides, merging with other section, a solid tubular portion of clay round in section with slightly flattened sides - this section curves up and away from the rounded part.
Fabric Description Bucchero, possibly partially burnt, duller black to light gray.
