Description This piece preserves the tube with a finished lower edge. Attached to the tube are the right rear leg, the rear part of the seat, and parts of the sides of the seat. The crosspieces of the seat itself are modeled onto the continuation of the tube, which flares out above them to form the body of the seated figure. On the surface of the tube there are scars from the three other chair legs. The preserved chair leg is broken off at the point where it drops down straight, whereas the tube curves outward to meet the outer edge of the leg.
Fabric Description Coarse clay with bits of stone and mica fired orange-brown.
