Description Decorated bucchero fragment, probably originally from base of open vessel, preserves partially, on exterior edge of wall near base, the impressions of a design stamped six times: no design is preserved in entirety (max. pres. height of decorated edge 0.008 m). Stamp probably originally triangular or ray-shaped (with sides with gradual convex curve) in outline: consisting of vertical close stack of horizontal oblong or rectangular depressions decreasing in length as move away from base (bottom depression rests on baseline) -- leaving five to seven thin, raised horizontal lines crossing ray field. Design is repeated at irregular intervals (width of base of design 0.004 m, length of max. pres. interval 0.003 m). Base edge of fragment is concave.
