Description A fragment of coarseware rim, possibly an element of a large cooking vessel or brazier. The fragment has one finished face and one unfinished face. These faces meet at a finished, curving beveled edge, but all other edges are broken. The unfinished face is very slightly convex along the length. The ancient break edge somewhat parallel to the curving beveled edge at one end rises slightly in profile in concert with a thicker part of the fragment. Beginning from the beveled edge, the finished face has a ridge 0.023m in width which rises diagonally up away from the beveled edge. The remaining portion of the finished face is 0.007m lower in profile (i.e., less thick) than the rising portion and very slightly convex. One part along the finished face is unfinished, possibly representing an attachment scar.
