Description | Molded decorative element resembling upper part of griffin beak: upper edge convex, coming to sharp point, then cut back with two successive convex arcs, the second deeper than the first. End of second arc broken off, but indication that followed curve symmetrically opposed. Surface with beak facing left finished, reverse unfinished. |
Fabric Description | Terracotta. Fine to medium grain with coarse bits of stone and mica. Fired red-brown. Traces of black. |
