Condition Broken on three sides. Surface of one side extensively chipped. Encrustation on opposite side. A lot of black color on all finished surfaces (indicating burning? - 19680621).
Description Fragment of a "cut-out" akroterion preserving section of indefinite shape, two flat smooth sides, three flat smooth edges. One forms a rounded protrusion by a convex curve, the second is a sharp hair pin curve, roughly cut at its innermost end and the third is straight but turns outwards at one break. Texture and surface akin to 19680621.
Fabric Description Murlo terracotta fired reddish brown on surface and gray at core. Well preserved red slip on finished surfaces.
