Condition | Fragment preserves, smooth, worn surfaces and break edges with some encrustation as well as traces of slip on the top of the rim. |
Description | A portion of the rim and a small portion of the bottom of possibly a creamware plate is preserved. The rim is rounded over the top and is U-shaped, leaving a semi-circular indent on the exterior face into which has been inserted a round coil of max. pres. thickness 0.011 m that juts out slightly farther than the two edges of the U. The coil continues for 0.014 m, then projects outward creating a nub-like handle 0.017 m in diameter that leaves the interior of the nub hollow, a rounded, triangular hole 0.004 m in diameter on the upper surface and 0.008 m on the lower surface. |
