Description A cairn / long rubble wall at Kato Vayia running 38 meters North-South, down the slope from the plateau above (DU 2058). It is directly South of the geodetic marker by 25-30 meters. The cairn was surveyed as two DUs because of shrubbery running through it. But the two DUs form the same feature. The cairn lies east of a gravel road with trees and brush at the top. The cairn slopes down to the West, and the eastern edge forms a border for DU 2058. The LOCA is the cairn feature. The site is on top of this ridge, overlooking the sea, before one begins to descend to Vayia beach. See Tartaron, Rothaus, and Pullen 2003; Tartaron, Pullen, and Noller 2006.
