Description Munsell 7.5 YR 4/4 (Brown). Two small patches of hard-packed earth, in the NW and SE corners of the “cell” formed by the later cross-walls, abutting the earlier string course features and perhaps evidence of a Nabataean-era floor in the 4 m by 4 m square formed by the junction of the North Cryptoporticus of the Propylaeum and the East Cryptoporticus of the East Triple Colonnade of the Lower Temenos. Floors in this area would probably have been robbed out when the later cross-walls were erected and the area filled in during the 2nd century CE.
