Newer Excavation Areas

• Area TA and TB (both within early designation Hill V)
• SB and IT (Inanna Temple operations)
• EN (so-called 'Enlil Temple')
• FI (Parthian Fortress)

Older Excavation Areas

The following designations not areas of excavation, if known, from older excavations:

• Hill X (across from -- SW of -- Hill V)
• Shatt en-Nil (area of ancient river bed between Hill V and Hill X)
• Temple Area (area north of Hill V containing Inanna Temple).
