Condition Surfaces are pitted, worn, and encrusted. There are large inclusions visible throughout the fabric. All edges are ancient breaks, except for one fresh abrasion from excavation. There is a finished top edge. There are areas of dark red slip most visible between and below the strigils.
Fabric Description Terracotta
Munsell Color 5YR 7/8 reddish yellow, 7.5YR 7/2 pinkish gray, 10YR 3/6 dark red
Description Lateral sima fragment that preserves portions of the top and back finished surfaces. Portions of three strigils are preserved and a small portion of a finished front surface below the strigils.
