Description | A fine cup with a high flaring foot. The lip is set in slightly from the bowl; it is plain except for a horizontal groove 0.002 m wide 0.010 m below the rim. The foot is hollow; it is marked off from the bowl by a raised ridge at the stem. The foot thickens at the rim, which is flattened slightly at the bottom and outer edge. Fine wheel marks are visible on the surface of the entire vase. |
