Condition Piece preserves four longitudinal facets, two finished, two unfinished, and is finished on both ends. Surface is slightly pitted.
Description Elongated portion of worked antler. The exterior, unworked face of the antler is slightly curved and the two worked faces are separated by the unworked cancellous core. On one end, the piece is triangular in section while the other is roughly rectangular. Parallel striations are visible on both ends and one of the worked faces, suggesting the use of a saw. However, the other worked face displays several worked gouges with semi-circular striations, suggesting the use of a cutting wire.
