Description Locus 9 is directly below the rock feature of Locus 8. It consists of a fine, sometimes flaky soil. It is dark brown in colour. A number of charcoal fragments were found in Locus 9. 3 sherds of pottery and 1/10th of a bowl of terracotta fragments were recovered from Locus 9.
