Description | Locus 4 soil is yellow and crumbly, with a lack of medium-sized rocks and fewer roots. There is almost no terracotta and only 1 piece of pottery was recovered. There are pockets of darker ochre under the surface where soil has not baked. Locus 4 is a transition to the sterile soil that next appeared across the entire trench. |
