Condition	Worn. The shaft is broken on the diagonal; less than half of the original object is preseved. The surface is now covered by a smooth, uniform mud-gray.
Description	On the flat surface of the knob of this rocchetto, slightly off-center, an X was crudely scratched before firing. Its lines are of unequal length and the deeper one was scratched second.
Fabric Description	Impasto; surface burnished brownish black. Quite fine-grained, with tiny yellow bits of stone throughout. A reddish brown layer is just below th black surface; it surrounds a yellowish gray core.
