Description

Locus 8 is located in the 2x2m sounding, in the area that was formerly Locus 2: sounding. The points and elevations between these two loci differs due to the removal of stones and a stump in the center of the sounding. Locus 8 is composed of a dry, light yellow gray soil. There are few small rocks, one medium rock and few roots. The soil is fine and crumble relatively easily. It is a slight less orange color than locus 7.
