Condition Surfaces worn, pitted, and encrusted. All edges are ancient breaks.
Description A fragment of a bucchero vessel preserving a portion of a band of stamped decoration, possibly figural of unidentified form. The best preserved portion of the stamp consists of three raised, linear elements emanating from a portion of a raised, circular element. The interior of the fragment is smooth, undecorated, and discolored, possibly from exposure to heat (re-oxidation).
