Condition	Restored from seven fragments; base broken at back end, and in front with left forepaw missing; missing section between rump and base, part of left shoulder, left forepaw, upper part of left thigh and top of head and abraded.
Description	Small ivory statuette, resembling a crouching dog, preserving part of the flat, rectangular platform on which it rests, the rounded, projecting chest, the right rounded shouler, the right foreleg and paw, and both lower hindlegs and paws, the rounded back and rump, and the head, which is tilted slightly to one side; the head (19710634) preserves large, incised almond-shaped eye sockets with protruding eyes, a squarish muzzle with mouth open and tongue protruding; the top of the head has slivered off but preserves traces of the left ear; the bottom of the base is smooth and preserves a round hole in the middle which extends haldway through the object, and approximate height of 0.007 m
