Condition Glued from two pieces; broken at two sides; chipped; surface encrustation.
Description Fragment of a "cut-out" akroterion preserving a presumably central section decorated at top and bottom with angular and rounded protrusions respectively; two flat smooth sides; two flat smooth edges, one defines a triangular, pointed projection, the other a protruding member, ending in three small rounded knolls; the triangle and the knolls face opposite directions; the piece has vertical breaks at both sides, between the described protrusions, where two, supposingly symmetrical, members branch out where the member is suspended.
Fabric Description Murlo terracotta, fired reddish brown on surface, possibly traces of a thin pinkish buff slip; on one side, faint traces of white paint.
