Condition Entire; slightly worn and encrusted.
Description Truncated conical spindle whorl with flat top and smooth curving sides decorated with nine irregular, shallow, vertical flutings which twist to the right; the ridges of the side flutings at bottom are fluted creating a side edge which then turns around the bottom face, also slightly fluted; around the bottom hole is a circular depression.
Fabric Description Impasto; fine-grained, dull, brown-black exterior.
