Description Only main features articulated with little detail. The smooth hair is parted in the center. The eyeborws springing from the nose, separate the narrow forehead from the almond shaped eyes which have tear ducts and eyelids. A ridge of clay forms the small right ear. The bridge of the nose is divided into two sections by three grooves. The tip of the nose ends in three knobs. The long, open mouth sinks slightly in the middle beneath the nose. On either side of the nose, there are two fangs which frame four flat teeth in the upper jaw. The tongue with a central groove hangs from the center of the mouth. The chin following the outline of the tongue projects below the cheeks. The back surface is rough. On the left edge is a slightly curving projection which is probably part of the cover tile which the Gorgon was attached to.
