Description Fragments compose bottom expanse of hair, small portion of back of neck and part of right shoulder and adjoining back section presumably seated statue: long hair is a panel of clay, rectangular in its preserved shape, placed on the back - from this piece protrudes the right shoulder, a heavy, rounded mass joined to the hair by the neck fragment, which appears to have been almost cylindrical - the sides adjoining the hair are almost straight and protruded only slightly from the vertical plane of the hair; the remaining section of the back, which adjoins both hair and shoulder, is straight and almost flat on its back side and slightly rounded on the actual side which is presuamably the contour of the arm, the two areas are roughly delineated by a shallow groove which curves slighly out from the bottom right corner of the hair, and then runs vertically for the length of the fragment to the break which was probably level with the joint of the elbow. For similiar hair fragments, refer to 19680560 and 19700300; fo shoulder, refer to 19690219 and 19670458. Fragment A: shoulder, hair and neck; Fragment B: back, Fragment C: shoulder.
