Description | The fragment is from the lower right edge of a frieze. Two women, clad in long straight garments which fall to just above the ankles, move left. Thier feet are in profile (see 19660067). The woman at the left balances a covered pot on her head (see 19660062; 19660065 for sharper details) while the woman at the right carries a four-legged stool upside-down on her head (see 19660062, 19660063, and 19660064). She extends both hands in order to support a lotus fan (see 19660063; 19660064, and 19660066). A small lump, 0.010 m, in front of her may be a vase hanging from her arm by a strap. A guilloche decorates the lower border and a large nail hole pierces the plaque between the women. |
