Description Four bucchero fragments believed to belong to the same vessel, similar in design to 19700343. One of the fragments is a finial knob placed along the rim and in the shape of an upside down cone blended into the walls of the vessel with a half sperical bottom at the rim topped by a round protruberance. The three remaining fragments are body pieces. One fragment preserves a frontal face in relief with incision denoting the eyes lips and mouth, outlining the flesh, and dividing the forehead from the hair; the hair is decorated with horizontal strands fashioned by a series of dots pressed into the surface. The remaining fragments show two parallel bands in relief, the top one decorated with a series of diagonal slashes; these two pieces may join.
