Description The piece preserves the two women following the biga and the back projection of the biga itself (see 19660231); the top break cuts off part of the objects the women are carrying on their heads. The guilloche is also preserved. Both woman carry large lotus fans (see 19660066 for clearer detail) in their right hands each carries a small pot by its bail handle in her left hand. The women wear long, tubular garments which cover them down to their ankles; their hair is drawn back in front and hangs down behind. The woman on the left(nearer the biga) carries a large squat jar with a cover on her head (see 19660062) and a small squarish pot in her left hand- the projection of the back of the biga overlaps this pot. The woman on the right carries a stool, upside down on her head (see 19660062) and a small squarish pot with a pointed projection from the bottom in her left hand; the handle of this pot can be clearly seen.
