Description | Corner of hearth (?) with leg support. Sides meet at approximately a 60 degree angle. A flanged rim extends from both sides. The junction of the rim top forms a ridge which follows the bisector of the corner angle. A hawksbeak is formed below by the side walls and rims. The leg, extending from the corner, has a smooth sloping back. The front of the leg is modeled at the bottom with four toe-like articulations above which is a similiar articulation culminating in four rounded, elliptical modelings.- |
