Description Fragment of a "cut-out" akroterion prserving part of a member attached to the ridge pole tile (not preserved); two flat smooth sides tapering with a curved outline from the base; one flattened smooth edge which starts out from the tile surface rises obliquely with two successsive concave curves forming a wavy outline, then, after a broken portion, slopes down in a concave curve which again turns upwards at the side break. There is a flat, broad scar at the bottom where the piece was attached to the top of the ridge pole tile. The pieces might be a lateral decorative extension close to the tile, fo the main part of the akroterion. For the shape of the fragment see 19690379.
