Description The right end is raised like the side of a pan tile. The front is broken below the cavetto molding. On the extreme right is the scar left by an attached head. To the left is a rosette of the standard type, complete except for a few chips on the edge. To the left is a feline waterspout of the smaller type. The break running across its top diagonally preserves part of the ear on the right and none of the one on the left. The oval eyes bulge out high from their recessed sockets on either side of the nose. The nose is a raised triangle at the top of the mouth, and has two sloping nostrils. The mouth is higher than wide and is all in one vertical plane with the front of the nose. On either side of the head, below the eye, is a hole. The piece of clay separating these side openings from the front of the mouth is a set of fangs; the right-hand one is broken on the bottom. The spout extends beyond the rosette. Part of the base has been preserved and curves up gently to form the back.
