Description A fragment of a coarseware lug handle preserves one finished, essentially ovular end that comes to an edge, irregular in thickness between the four sides. The two longer sides are almost flush with the surface of the shaft while the two shorter sides taper inward. The shaft begins to flare outward to the lateral break surface, perhaps indicating a point of attachment.
