T-26 was laid out as a 2.5m x 3m trench in the northwest portion of the ancient OC 2 workshop area on the Piano del Tesoro. The trench was triangulated off the baseline for 68 South. The coordinates of the trench are as follows:
NE: 175.81m E, 66.5m S SE: 175.81m E, 69.5m S SW: 173.31m E, 69.5m S NW: 173.31m E, 66.5m SA datum point with an absolute elevation of 27.69m AE on the master grid has been established on a tree to the south of the trench.
