Ceramics Summary

Pottery Summary

Some pottery was found in T-80. In Locus 1 , 44 sherds of pottery were found. Of these, all were ancient. The majority of pottery found in Locus 1 was fine impasto body sherds, followed by impasto body sherds. Locus 2 revealed more pottery, (116 sherds). Of these sherds, none laid flat on the surface or the flaking soil beyond it. The majority of sherds again were of fine impasto pieces, (58 sherds), followed by impasto body pieces (28 sherds). One biconical spindle whorl was found ( 20150036 20150036 ). The whorl fragment was found in proximity to the flaking soil.
