This is the last day at CD9 for the author.  Cleaned and closed Loci 6 and 9.  Meter 275-276S/270-271E (Locus 16) showed a spread of pottery, mainly fragments of cooking vessels.  There was not enough time to take measurements of all the finds, so they were left in situ.  After pictures are taken tomorrow, they will be recorded and removed.  A drawing was made of the pottery spread which will be incorporated into the book later.

This afternoon we will try to dig the 272-275E/275-276S meters down to the usual surface this afternoon.  See diagram pg. 77, Loci 18 and 19.  Actually, Locus 18 topsoil, dark, dense roots, was opened and closed.  Locus 19 (brown, crumbly soil) was opened but there was not enough time to close it.

The tops of several more large rocks in line with the "wall" were found in Locus 19.
