In the topsoil layer of CA42 (Loci 1, 3, and 7), there were 6 pieces of chert (5 worked) found and 1 piece of fossilized material. In the layer below topsoil, in Locus 8 only, 2 pieces of worked chert were found: 1 red chert and 1 piece of green chert. A total of 8 pieces of chert were found in the entire CA42 area.
