STRATEGY: 2578 continues on the northern part. The Death Pit stuff may start coming up at the northern part, showig the edges of this pit. Focussing on this area to take down the level to that of the Death Pit will be the strategy of the day. As far as f854 is concerned, we may need to open up a new trench to the south as N480, E505?

SUMMARY: Trench N485, E500 needs to be planned and the stones will be removed to the level of the f754. This trench was opened up with f754 exposure in mind, thus it remains as a secondary issue to the Death Pit explorations. No plan of N485, E500 has been drawn. 2580 discovered a cache of gravels (sling ball blanks) to the north of grave f858. A few lines of stones were found running N-S rather than my usual E-W.
