Work continued in the new area bringing the excavation down to Stratum B. Three workmen cleaned the shelf area in the fossa proper and left it to dry. They then began clearing out the stones in grids 18= GG-JJ.

Numerous fragments possibly related to the preceding were found in HH-II 18.

Two cunassorted boxes of sherds from Stratum B were taken to the magazino. The shelf area of the fossa proper was extended to a depth of 1.0 m in grids 16-18 GG-JJ. Due to rain excavation stopped early.
