Due to the occurrence of the last two exceptional finds at the very bottom of the fossa, excavation continues down to a level 1.3 m below the top of stratum B and 1.75 m +/- below ground level (strat. A) through grid 24. When this is finished the bottom of the fossa will be sought and carefully excavated with hammers.

A large corner fragment of a tile was excavated in JJ 24 at 0.95 m.
