Levelled the area in meters N 1-4, W 5-8 bringing down high spots. Two fragments of iron were recovered in this work. (Find # 1) These are probably modern due to their good state of preservation. Began a new cut through meters N 1-3, W 5-8 and the southern half of N 4, W 7-8 using 2 pick crews lowering the area to aprox. 17 cm bd. The soil remained consistent and maintained the designation Locus 2. 1/8of a latte box of ceramic + bone fragments, as well as 80-85 small terra-cotta fragments were recovered.

An amorphous piece of bronze wsa found ( Find # 2).

Continued work in CA 36, straightening baulks and clearing out wash-out. 10-12 bits of worn terra-cotta and aprox. 1/8 of a latte box of ceramics were recovered in this work.
