A pick pass was done through the northern meter of the trench. Very little, and very small, terracotta is found as well as a few fragments of pottery. More medium to large sized rocks are also being uncovered. The yellowish soil of Locus 6 may be appearing in the northwest corner of the trench. Some additional hand picking is done in the northern meter of the trench in order to better define the rocks that are appearing. A piece of slag (Special Find #1) is found. A pick pass is conducted in the southwest corner of the trench, south of the rocky feature and Locus 6. Pottery, bone, and a few pieces of terracotta are found. A piece of slag (Special Find #2), ridged pottery (Special Find #3), and a fragment of a bone bead (Special Find #4) are found. Slag (Special Find #5) and a piece of worked bone (Special Find #6) are also found. The same area is picked, turning up ample bone and pottery. A larger piece of slag (Special Find #7) is found. Another piece of slag (Special Find #8) is also found.

Defining with trowels is done in the northern meter of the trench on the rocks. A few pieces of pottery and terracotta are found in the process. A pick pass is done of the southwestern area of the trench. Pottery and terracotta are found. Some slage is also found, and so slag will now be bulk found for Locus 5. Another pick pass is done of the area, yielding similar amounts of bone and pottery. Some hand picking is done along the south wall, revealing a worked bone (Special Find #9). Some baulkwalling in the southwest corner reveals what appears to be a lighter soil; different from both locus 5 and 6 soils.
