Daily Log

June 16, 1978

RAIN prevented work in the monrnig.  In the afternoon, in order to avoid the wet area in Grids A-G, work was moved to the southmost area of the trench. A second cut was made in S-T 30-32 to a depth of ca.15cm.  As before, this revealed a layer of yellowish gray soil, containing nothing more than a few irregularly shaped and very worn tiles.
