The tile bed north of the wall was photographed and lifted. At 20cm S and 25cm E in 1L the forehead, eye, and large protruding nose of a human head was found (#6). There

was no frieze.

A second test trench was extended out parallel to and south of the first test trench along the wall for a distance of four meters. Within one meter another wall was found extending south at right angles to the first wall and measuring 1 1/2m across. Total distance from the inner corner to the inner corner of the NW turn (tr. 1G) was 23.2 meters. Excavation was then begun on the area between the western edge of this new wall and the eastern edge of 1L.
